DESCRIPTION:Worth Avenue Association Historic Walking Tours \nBeginning Wednesday\, November 19\, 2025 and ending April 29\, 2026 \nEvery Wednesday starting November 19\, 2025\, excluding Christmas Eve* the Worth Avenue Association conducts a 75- minute historical walking tour led by Mr. Rick Rose\, our historical docent.  Through colorful anecdotes and commentary\, the exciting and informative tours explores the origins and character of Worth Avenue\, its unique architecture\, the historical significance of many of its legendary landmarks and some of its famous residents. \nThe tour begins at 10:30 am in Via Amore at 256 Worth Avenue across from Tiffany & Co. and Chanel.  There is three hour metered parking on Worth Avenue and four hour metered parking on Peruvian with the ParkMobile App or valet parking at the Apollo parking lot on Hibiscus for a fee.  The cost of the tour is $25 per person and a portion of which benefits The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts STARS Series.  Registration is required by purchasing a ticket on Eventbrite.com at \n \nThe tour is “rain or shine”. Weather related tour changes/cancellations will be announced by 9:30am on tour day\, 1 hour before tour begins and will be posted in Eventbrite where you can view any announcements. No announcements will be made if the tour is scheduled to take place.  Please be prompt for the tour so that we may check you in and issue your participating wrist band for identification. \nTours are limited to 40 participants to enhance the tour experience.  If the tour is sold out\, you can add your name to the waiting list.  The waiting list will open up only if more tickets become available for that tour date.  The waiting list does not mean that you have a ticket.  All tour participants must have a ticket pre-purchased on Eventbrite.   \nThe Historical Walking Tours of Worth Avenue are completely wheelchair accessible\, as there are no steps throughout the entire tour.  The tour is about ¾ miles in length and moves along briskly between stops along the route.  Participants with mobility issues are encouraged to use wheelchairs or electric scooters. Wheelchair users are given priority positioning during the stops on the tour.  The Worth Avenue Association does not supply wheelchairs or scooters. \nYou can also pick up a copy of Rick Rose’s book\, Palm Beach: The Essential Guide to America’s Legendary Resort Town and take a self-guided tour of iconic Worth Avenue and the surrounding Palm Beach area.\nPalm Beach: The Essential Guide to America’s Legendary Resort Town is a comprehensive illustrated guide to the “American’s First Resort Destination. The soft-cover book is a rich and beautifully curated collection of local destinations\, filled with the top must-sees\, restaurants\, one-of-a-kind shopping and attractions. Copies are available to purchase online and at local bookstores. \n*Christmas Eve\, December 24\, 2025 is rescheduled for Friday\, December 26 with a special “Holiday Edition” Historic Walking Tour hosted by Galerie Fledermaus located at 323 Worth Avenue\, Suite B in Via Newsome. Enjoy Fine Art and Contemporary works and lite bites and sips! This special Holiday Edition ticket price is $50 per person which includes admission to the Galerie.
