Classic Worth Avenue
WHAT A YEAR!
Worth Avenue has shifted into the national vocabulary through its Palm Beach location—which it now shares with the Winter White House. Its merchants’ association, which brings you this magazine, is celebrating its 70th year this season, and we’ve heard that Santa Claus will arrive at our annual holiday tree lighting by yacht this year for the first time. We’ve seen new businesses open on the Avenue, survived a hurricane, and ramped up
our website and social media.
Still, the enduring magic of Worth Avenue remains the same. It is a boulevard that changes with the times, but is endowed with the classic
grace of its historic past—and the beauty of its Old World architecture. Bougainvillea still tumbles from a high wall, fountains dance in secluded
vias, and you can hear the blue waves of the Atlantic Ocean just down the street. Underlying it all is the Avenue’s legacy of customer service, its mix
of whimsy and haute couture and its special appeal as an international dining and shopping destination.
We know we are ever-changing, but we also honor our traditions and our commitment to you, the Worth Avenue visitor. Your delight is our
objective—and the hallmark of who we are. We hope you enjoy your visit—and will come back again and again.
